A message from Michael DeLuca

Thank you for visiting our DSS site. I am a twenty-year law enforcement professional and currently with the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office where I am the K-9 Unit Supervisor and former Handler. I am also a NJ Police Training Commission Certified Instructor.

I recently founded DSS, a highly specialized company focusing on Explosive Detection and Executive Protection using K-9s. We also offer an Executive Protection Driving Service and LE / Security Training.

We are committed to providing our clients with the highest level of consulting, service and training. We use qualified, certified and trained individuals, canines and the latest technology and equipment to ensure that our clients are protected at all times.

Michael Deluca

Michael DeLuca is a highly experience law enforcement professional with over two decades of service, bringing extensive expertise in executive protection, dignitary securityh, and explosive detection operations. Currently serviing as the frontline4 supervisor for both the Executive Protection Unit and the Explosive Detection K9 Unit. Sergeant DeLuca plays a pivotal role in safeguarding high-profile individuals and critical infrastructure across varied environments.

Since 2014, Michael has specialized in executive protection, leading protection details for corporate executive, government officials, and public figures with discretion, precision and a deep understanding of threat mitigation services. In 2017, he expanded his operational portfolio as a certified K9 handler, deploying specialized dogs trained in explosive detection to enhance public safety and secure sensitive locations.

Michael is also a New Jersey Police Training Commission (NJPTC) certified instructor, with certification in physical conditioning, defensive tactics, handcuffing procedures, baton techniques, and chemical agent use. His qualifications further include Emergency Medical Responder training, including CPR< First Aid, and AED certification - ensuring preparedness for medical emergencies in the field.
